Collaboration with adult literacy providers

This section is not about what the district does for adult literacy, rather, it focuses on other providers of adult literacy programs in the district area.

 

If the district has identified adult literacy providers, describe how the program will be developed in collaboration with them. Tell when and how often the district meets with them. Planning included or will include consideration of collaborative strategies and other funding resources to maximize the use of technology.

 

If no adult literacy providers are indicated, describe the process used to identify adult literacy providers or potential future outreach efforts. A sample of this verbiage:

 

"_____ District is small and neither provides nor is knowledgeable of any adult literacy providers within its boundaries or within a reasonable distance.  The district works closely with the small community through school-based activities and committee work, and as such is aware of new services that may appear.  Should the district be made aware of any opportunity to collaborate with an adult literacy provider, we will contact them and meet as appropriate."
